The Duchess of Sussex was spotted at the launch party of Highbrow Hippie, a new hair care line by her longtime hair colorist and friend, Kadi Lee.

For the occasion, Meghan wore a Khaite bustier top and black pants, along with shoes by Aquazzura. She accessorized it with a gold pendant necklace and gold earrings, jewelry by Logan Hollowell.

She let her hair fall loose in soft curls, parted in the middle and flowing smoothly down her back. While her glossy tresses have long been a signature feature, fans didn’t seem to love her look this time, with many criticizing her hair.

One critic didn’t hold back, stating, “Looking so old for her age! Also temp hair extensions, are not very good! As seen here.” Another user was unimpressed with her hair choice, writing, “Her wig/extensions look bad – very limp & oily looking and not sitting on her head quite right. If you’re going to promote a hair product, at least make sure your hair looks amazing.”

Someone else shared a harsher opinion, adding, “She doesn’t shine it’s just her usual greasy mess.” “Dont [sic] be delusional ,” one comment read, as the user insisted, “She definitely has hair extensions!”
A fan humorously declared their preference for other brands, “Having a messy hair/wigs/extension like Meghan has, is the opposite of what I want for my blond hair. I Will keep using Kerastase, kielh and schwarzkopf. .”

Later, Meghan lightened the mood with a joke that highlighted Kadi’s impact on her. “I was using boxed dye when I met her!” she said, causing laughter in the room.

The new line is unique as it targets hair loss and thinning. Kadi, who is passionate about the line, noted, “I work with some of the most visible women in the world; keeping their hair healthy has always been at the top of my mind.”
Kadi, along with her salon co-founder and close friend Myka Harris, co-created Highbrow Hippie. Together, Kadi and Myka have supported their clients through various stages of life, including postpartum experiences and the challenges of aging into their 40s and 50s, a time when hair loss often becomes more noticeable.
