“O Holy Night” is one of those songs many of us have heard so many times we could probably sing at least one or two verses from memory. This Christmas classic was written nearly 170 years ago, and has become a favorite carol.
While many musicians across all genres have covered this popular song, none do it quite like the a cappella country group Home Free. Their version, full of heart and interesting musical arrangement, really stands out from the crowd.
Home Free got their first taste of musical popularity when they won the 2013 season of The Sing-Off. The group of five vocalists sped through the competition, and took home first place with their unique arrangement of Hunter Hayes’ “I Want Crazy”.
And they haven’t slowed down since then. The group has released three albums since their win, and have a huge YouTube following. It’s no wonder; their videos are works of art, and their music is breathtaking.
“O Holy Night” now boasts over five and a half million views on YouTube. Once you see this video, you’ll know why. We hope to see these talented singers releasing beautiful music for a long, long time.
